I'll overwhelm 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I will damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I will really want to hurt him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving massive earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters participated in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
